This baby humpback is around 25 feet long and already has a few scars. The young humpbacks are very curious and playful and make repeated passes, getting so close I was gently hit by the tail despite my best efforts to get out of the way. It certainly did not phase the calf, since it came back again and again. (Photo by Underwater Photographer Matt Considine)
